About Us

Our Home... The Village

We're proud members of the McClellanville community and are grateful for our customers. Here's a little more info about us and our home town.

Adam Freeze

Adam grew up on Edisto Island and graduated from C of C with an undergraduate degree in Geology. He starting working at Athena Technologies in McClellanville in 2009 and became a permanent Village resident in 2020.

Palmer "Pama" McClellan

Palmer was born and raised in McClellanville and grew up roaming the waters of Cape Romain. When he's not working as a Master USCG Captain for Athena Technologies, you can find him trying to chase down wahoo offshore or cruising the creeks looking for redfish. When you see him out there, give him a wave.

Cape Romain NWR

The Village serves as the gateway to one of the most pristine stretches of coastline on the entire East Coast, thanks to the Cape Romain National Wildlife Refuge. Spend the day cruising around Muddy Bay, watching shore birds along the ICW, or visiting the local beaches by boat. Visit the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service website for information regarding visiting the Cape. https://www.fws.gov/refuge/cape_romain/

The Working Waterfront

McClellanville is one of the few communities on the East Coast that primarily relies on the seafood industry to sustain the local economy. Please visit the Waterman's Association website to learn more about the Town's working history. https://www.mcclellanvillewatermen.org/

Jeremy Creek

Few places are as idyllic as Jeremy Creek, especially during a quiet sunrise. Take some time when you're here to appreciate the natural beauty of the area and the rugged charm of the shrimping fleet.
